Vinnie John

You've signed him from Stortford. A useful striker with good scoring pedigree, if a little bit prone to tantrums. He should get the goals to take you up if you can get the best out of him.

You've paid Stortford their record transfer fee, and Vinnie is on very, very good money as well, according to Stortford sources.

You've got a relatively easy run-in after the Northwod match, so that signing might just get you up.

I think it'll have the opposite effect. Vinnie John is a primadonna. He'll unsettle an already unsettled bunch at Hornchurch. Cue arguments about pay, signing on fees etc (ie: who got what, and aggrieved players) Vinnie is also going from playing in the Premier Division, to playing in front of 150 people at a run down Athletics Stadium. No motivation for him, except his nice fat wage packet. Just like the rest of the Urchins. I predict 6th place maximum.

take no notice urchino...just another jealous loser...two great signings and very clever on Micks part...these two are well know to me and will fit in nicely with the players already in the squad....

see fitz has gone from the woods....chuckle chuckle.....

Cheers. What you've done today, is give the other promotion chasing clubs another massive incentive for an extra push towards that 2nd place. I have no doubts that come the end of season, Bryco will be counting the costs of failing to get promotion and wondering why on earth they did it.

£12,500 for a striker in Div One North is [****!!****] ridiculous. Not jealousy, just absolute madness. It's not sustainable. I only hope these players are contracted to Bryco and not Hornchurch, as you're the ones who'll have to pay their hefty wages once Bryco have departed. Look at the mess Farnborough Town are in now Westley and AIMITA have moved on. When will clubs ever learn?

Oh dear, oh dear, ignorance of some people! Firstly, Bryco don't own Hornchurch. Secondly, we won't fold if we don't go up, remember Mr. Clueless, we only got promoted into this division last season, promotion will be a bonus. And thirdly, catch us if you can, everyone has had ample opportunity to catch us with our recent run of results, yet no one has. Seems to me that all the comments on this forum slagging us off for signing these 2 lads are from people resigned to the fact that we will now get second spot and they will miss out. It isn't over by a long way yet, so don't get too depressed, there's everything to play for, no one is home and dry yet!
