the former West brom striker has been released on parole today after serving 3 years for death by dangerous driving.

He is set to sign for Oldham Athletic but after killing someone and fleeing the seen should he be allowed to play professional football again or should he just be left to get on with his life???

I sort of agree but on the other hand some people are limited to what jobs they can do,ie,people with any criminal records cannot get certain jobs due to police checks.

I think it is a bit harsh on the dead blokes family that every weekend they will hear or see his name, especially if he is banging in goals

Some jobs are certainly going to be out of bounds for those with criminal records.

I certainly feel for the family and friends of the victim as three years is an apalling sentence. In my opinion killing someone via dangerous driving should be on par with manslaughter - he may not have set out to kill another person but did. It's not as though we're unaware of what our cars are capable of.
