Hi Can anybody help, I have e.mailed Gary, I have e.mailed and called people at the club but still no reply. I am looking to come down to the club to train and hopefully play for slough Town but I need to speak with Darren or someone that helps run the club. If you could reply with any help at all, I would be most grateful

Many Thanks

Hi James, I wouldn't do it tomorrow. By all means come along, but pre-match might not be the best time to speak to the management as they will be preparing for the match. Dependant on the result, we may have training on Tuesday at the Polish Club, or if not, definitely on Thursday, so they may be the better days.

If you need directions or anything, let me know - secretary@sloughtownfc.net

oh ok I will come to the game and have a look, will it cost for me to get in, or do potential players get free admission. I know the way to the club so thats fine thankyou, lets hope Slough just win.

Many Thanks

yes agreed you would be surprised at how many people turn up at games excpecting to get in for free and people who have money too, its quite shamefull to see these people turn up and say im so and so or im doing this. clubs at this level rely solely on gatemoney and donations.

rant over

Obviously done their homework on us!! Must think as an ex conference club, we're rolling in it still. Homeless for 4 years, next to no money, and desperate for players, and you expect to get in for nowt. Get real and get a life!

k77No Actually I would play and train for free, if it ment I was playing for Slough Town every week, money is not important to me, all I asked was one question to see how the club operates, no wonder so many players leave because you lot get on their backs all the time. And for you information I was ment to be trialing at Brentford this summer, however the manager that came in decided he wanted more experienced players not young lads like me, hence why I need to gain experience!!!

I'd rather this lad gets given a go, we need players like him (however good he is) that actually wants to play for the club. Surely he has shown this by his constant comments on the forum - hopefully he will be given a chance to prove himself.

Good luck!

Agreed - I didn't see the need for the over-the-top reaction to the initial question. We all agree that we need new blood in the team, but we're never going to get any if potential recruits see all this hostility. Remember that we're not exactly an attractive proposition at the moment.
