The Brewers travel to Kent with Clough himself, Paul Talbot and Craig Dudley all suspsended, Neil Glasser absent with a back injury, and doubts about the fitness of Andy Sinton and Andy Ducros, who have hamstring and knee injuries respectively.

 

As if that wasn't enough, long term casualty Glenn Kirkwood (stress fracture) is joined on the sidelines by Sean Farrell who's suffering from a knee complaint, and Dale Anderson, who's ruled out with gastroenteritis.

Francis Duku and Steve McKimm are likely to be on the substitutes bench as Gravesend, four points off safety, go for a third successive home win.

If true - I presume only due to a lack of other personnel, rather than an intention to play them.

Andy has been away this week, so unless they knew where he was they didn't get it from him.

 

In any event, why shouldn't they be ready, both of them have had three reserve matches and could easily be ready for 20 minutes of the real thing if required.

Steve and Francis both looked good at Bedford on wednesday,I am sure they could last most of the match if not one half at least.

Just hope things go well for the 'Fleet'. Plenty of noisy support from behind the goal and the Halfway line is needed more than ever. Lets show the players just what this fixture means to us 'The Fans'.

Well if Burton are that badly depleted lets hope we take full advantage, didn't ceefax say that Ade Pennock had signed for the rest of the season, thought he did that in January, from what people have said here and other threads looks like we may see Duku and Macca at some stage, welcome back hopefully the fans will give them a tremendous ovation.
