1. Duran Duran - unfairly portrayed as a Boy Band, every one of their early 80's singles is now a classic.

 

2. Bros - When Will I Be Famous and I Owe You Nothing - classic late 80's pop.

 

 

3. Take That - the last Boy Band to make decent music. Back For Good and Pray have stood the test of time.

 

 

4. A-Ha - again unfairly portrayed at the time. Take On Me is one of the tunes of the 80's

 

 

5. Wham! - how much better is Wham's material compared with the dull stuff George Michael churns out now!?

Just got this month's issue of Q Magazine, and Duran Duran are number 5 in their Top 50 Most Outrageous Musicians of All-Time!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

 

Interesting note to Thornsy - apparently guitarist Andy Taylor was, due to his love of all things white and powdery, known by his mates as "The Sniffer"!!
