Match report from a Hastings perspective

Recommended Posts

..totally agree that this is a rave report from Hastings...any clue when someone is going to give our website a bit of an overhaul?..fixtures still show for last season...surely there are some 14 year old computer heads in the area who could run it for the club?..or is that slave labour?...

on the subject of reports, the Hastings one was written by our debutant reporter, hence the omission of the term "brace" to describe Boot and Flack's two goal hauls... A big thank you to everyone who has offered to help with the match coverage, hopefully we'll get more coverage around the place now...

Don't know what happened with NonLeagueToday, after phoning up Friday to see if they could call on Saturday at 6, they never did... no idea what went in as I didn't get to buy a copy.

Sorry about the fixture list... part of the problem is that it is in HTML (spreadsheet no good, but thanks Hoedown) which makes it a pain to update. I'm trying to get it incorporated into the software that we use for the rest of the site which should make it easier to update.

Simon,

Apologies if I'm teaching you to suck eggs, but are you aware that footballwebpages.co.uk (the people who host the Isthmian Forum) provide Java Scripts & XML feeds of their up-dated Ryman Fixtures/Results & League tables etc..?

Plus point is that once they're incorporated into a site they will just up-date without any input needed from the web-master. Down side is that it only covers the League fixtures & results and it's about 50 notes to register for one years service.

A grand total of half a dozen lines was the NLT output

The only team to get a proper match report were AFC Kingstonian
