He just keeps disappointing me. I hope he pulls himself together for the next game because today he let us down I feel. We were comfortable until he came on and I don't really see why Coleman had to come off. I know Bagley thinks he's better than Margate but he's going to have to play like he is or he is going to continue to let himself and his team down. Loads of ability (which he shows in glimpses) but such a bad attitude sadly.

I would not want to face RT after that-he looked livid.

I really felt for RT as a manager after that.

 

However, there will be other individual mistakes this season, and i stilll think the 'bigger issue' was why replace both the experience of Pinnock; and Coleman as someone else posted, was on a definate high after his goal, and was playing well.

Totally agree, why take coleman and pinns off, we looked far more threatning with them on.

once they went and Rob got injured it was backs to the wall time.

Howarth had to go as he was injured but we replaced the other two with inexperienced players when it was crying out for experience.

In Nick's defence he WAS tracking back & genuinely trying to help our defence out.At the time I though "what a silly header out",but with hindsight he IS a forward & the header WAS a solid one.It just went in the wrong direction thats all. Besides the player who scored was left in acres of room to size up his shot on goal so why wasn't he closed down quicker? I agree with Peter we cant attach all the blame on Nick for the goal and also as Peter says the shot still had to be made by the opposing player.Trotty made a similar error today but got away with it.It happens occasionally to all players.

 

Anyway back to Bagley.If he can put some more work in UP FRONT & out wide,not be afraid to be more adventurous, he WILL come good I'm sure. For the most he SHOULD listen to those more experienced players around him & take note of what they are trying to do for him but occasionally he must just try his OWN thing,regardless.

No,he's not cutting it at the moment,but only he can get himself looking like the player he thinks he is.

Its good we have competition for places this season. One blip & you could be waiting a long time to get a chance again.

Trott made just as bad error but fortunatly for him he got away with it.

Difficult conditions out there, errors are easy in that situation. All the team made them, none of them are perfect.

Trotts error was far worse. He had time and laid an awful ball across the middle. I agree with others that Bagley should not have been on the field.
