Predictions for the forth coming season

Personally I can't see us finishing in the top 3 but I think a top 6 finish is a possibility. We still have a very young squad and I think we need just a bit more experience.

The signing of the striker Roache and Anderson the assistant mannager are great and will hopefully push us forward.

I would agree with you Steve, reckon that a top 6 finish (playoffs) is a strong possibility. But, that said if we can get off to a good start then who knows automatic promotion may not necessarily be beyond the realms of possibility. Heres to 3 points tomorrow on the Island. Up the royalists

I predict Windsor will finish above Slough and win at least one of the two derbys.

I feel that Martin Williams is a key factor in central midfield and I hope he's back from injury fairly quickly. We've added two experienced defenders in Butler & Parsons and the extra striker we needed in Roche so in reality the squad is just about what we would want [apart from the current crop of injuries]. The addition of Dave Anderson to the backroom staff is a brave decision by Simon but I applaud him for it and I feel he will add an extra edge tactically and technically with his vast experience.

 

The two key factors now must be avoiding long-term injuries and improving discipline and, if we can achieve both of those, I feel we could be looking at a promotion place whether automatically or via the playoffs I wouldn't like to say at present, but ask me in two months time and we'll all know a bit more then.

If key players stay fit we should be in or around the playoffs. With Roache, Ports, Chens and seeds in the sqaud goals shouldn't be too much of an issue it's really up to the defence to do their job this year.

Hopefully the defence can vastly improve on last season, if so we will surely be right up there, can't see many if any teams scoring as many goals as we should this season.

 

As for tomorrow, make those lagers long and cool....

i think getting butler, alongside will, is a great addition to the defence, as with ryan coming back.

 

was impressed with roache the few times i saw him during pre-season, hopefully can score alot of goals.

It does seem a little daft to get a coach and a player sent off over a free kick when 3-0 up away from home and with 5 minutes to go. That aside, an excellent start to the season for the Royalists

Nice to see we can actually keep a clean sheet. Be interesting to see how we get on against one of the better side. Key to this division is a bit of consistency.
