I would imagine they are none too pleased about the situation.

What next? I would say losing the ground mid season and then having no groundshare as burnt bridges with the only local side willing to help.

No doubt the club will be defunct within 18 months if not sooner, sad but likely to be true

a "mole" tells me that the playing budget has been restored and only Buchanan (retired) and Gardiner (Leverstock Green) have left.

No supprise there, the club dont know what they are fcking doing.

My 'mole' tells me that another housing developer is in the wings with an offer, the freeholders will bite their hand off and Galliard who so genrously LOL yeah right! have agreed to fund the club for another...year, will sell their lease and leave Edgware in the crap....again.

What is the point at being at a club that at any second will go belly up!

It would have been better for the club to hounour the groundshare argeement at Harrow Borough, and then look for fresh options from there. Instead they go back to the WLG, piss off Harrow, and no doubt the Ryman league, and then get landed with a £20000 bill for a groundshare they are not going to need (not yet anyway) plus Harrow would be well within their rights to ask for a compensation payment as well.

It just seems like one thing after another with Edgware, they are just prolonging the enivitable, which is the that the White Lion Ground IS going to be sold and the club left with nowhere to go.

If they were to go to the PEPF the new home of Wealdstone FC, due to open next summer, they would have to pay more then £20000 in rent I imagine, and they would not have function room/clubhouse so the club would fold anyway.

In hindsight it may have been better for the club to fold this summer, at least it would have seen them go out as treble champions!
