Dorking FC Discussion Board.

I have had an e-mail from DFC Chairman regarding the DFC Discussion Board.

 

We 'inherited' the site from the previous site owner last season. Because of some problems concerning a few posts that were made, the current administrator, (not me), decided to make the board fully open for view but not open to make posts other than by the designated staff, (again, NOT me).

 

RC believes that ANYBODY should be able to view the site, to see match reports, etc.

 

If this is NOT the case, please feel free to PM me with any details and if you have tried to register and still cannot view the site, identify yourself to me with your sign-in name, (confidentially of course), so that I can sort the issue out with the current forum administartor.

 

Any banter following this post is fully expected and will be accepted in good faith. I'm just trying to make things a bit easier for those who wish to read our official match reports.

The person who originally set the site up, and therefore is the registered administrator is no longer connected with the DFC in any way shape or form, consequently we have to contact him to make any administrational changes.

I've not heard anything about the possible sponsorship other than that discussions are still on-going.

will the sponsorship issue effect the youth side's entry into the SYL do you know? I remember RC saying he needed sponsorship of about 4 or 5 grand to get the youth side running in that league for a season.

Is it the whole website or just the forum dfc are having trouble with?

I hope the board dont loose their nerve over Jol as is heavily rumoured.

 

I can let you know anything you need from the DFC website, i printed it up last season,in case I missed it! its still the same.
