The sentiment fits very well.I can only recall the chorus,so i'd have to listen to the first minute of the song,to make a proper jugdement,but its definately one to throw into a vote.

To be honest I'd rather we chose a song for and about us, with nothing to do with any other club, whether defunct or newly-formed. Enfield FC are defunct, Enfield 90210 are a new club based in Ware, let's get over it. We are Enfield Town FC.

It doesn't have specific lyrics to tie in with the club (neither do most club songs),BUT it is a great feelgood tune AND it is a rousing song.Its the sort of song that sends a tingle down the spine when the opening chords start up.

The Impossible Dream - Andy Williams (actually La Quête by Jacques Brel - God - but AW's version from that advert is wicked). Starts slowly, though.

 

Folk Police - Peatbog Faeries. Stomping bagpipe techno, if you can imagine that. No, it's good! Admittedly a tad obscure.
