Where does Jay Saunders play (football )

I have a feeling this will rumble on throughout the season.

Personally, i'm happy for him to play centre back as opposed to midfield, but to me, the main thing is that he plays the same position every week-not be chopped and changed.

Whilst good, i don't think he had a great last season, and to me, the main reason was he was centre back, centre forward, centre midfield, right midfield-too many positions and master of none.

Wherever he plays, RT will get the best out of him in a settled role;and that could be defence in the 'Sappleton role'.

Either way, we need one more player imo.

A central defender if Jay plays in midfield,or more likely, a central midfielder if Jay is in defence.

I rate Dean and Macca in central midfeild, but through injury, suspension, tiredness, no way can they play 50 games each in central midfield; so we need another good midfield player imo to make the squad complete.

All due respect to Keiron Morris, i do not expect he is quite ready to regularly command such a role.JJ is not a central midfield player, nor is Yianni as far as i am aware, so Macca and Dean can't do it all.(Have i missed anyone ).

(alternative-get Sappleton back for a 3 month loan-notice he did not feature in the Boston 16 on saturday )

Saunders is a MUST for midfield i.m.o.Whilst he works well at the back as was in Saturdays game at Whitstable where he was magnificent, his bite in midfield is sorely missed. Moreso now that this news on Yianni has come out(if true).
