Alan... Zach Zacharia, Shane Brown, Chris Lewis and Jamie McClean I'm guessing are the strikers in the reserves this season judging by what mfcr has said and the lineup in the Canterbury game.

 

Zacharia is about 21 I think and was with Ramsgate Reserves last season but the other three were in our u18s.

Can tell you that some of the names put up for reserves are only in u18s this season although they have played for reserves both last year and friendly this year. I think those "in charge" are hedging their bets. Last season the u18s propped up the reserves at the expence of their own team, 14 reserve players seems rather short. I know some lads who were hoping to get into the u18s were dropped last week but that still left about 18 players. In the meantime what`s happening to poor Matt Bowles, he seems to be floating between u18s reserves and first team.

All said there seems to be far more interest in the u18s and reserves this year.

Last season it seemed we had 3 strikers press first team places:

 

Barron,Bagley,Holden which is pretty good.

 

Maybe this season it will be KP's turn (not that i've ever seen him play ,but he seemed to be a bit of a goalscorer )

Have to go along with you michaelmichael re advetising reserve games. I`m in a position to hear but I did`nt know about reserve game and I always go. Sheppey u18s last season were a good side, our u18 only just lost at home 2-1. I`m supprised that they beat our reserve side by that amount, but it would have been a different line up from Canterbury game. I now have some concerns as Margate have the players..........
