First ever visit to graves sorry ebbsfleet and last .

you lot couldnt organise a p**s up in a brewery

First game off the season all briefed up and ready to go erh dont think so turns up at 12.45 to watch the spurs game first after being reassured we could watch it in the social club but the grounds not even open .

When a turnstile does eventually open were told we cant come in as it was for complimentary ticket holders only GREAT START,

When we eventually got in we then had to put up with your so called MINORITY ELLEMENT of fans being allowed to come into the away end intent on causing trouble while the female steward stood and watched, (BY THE WAY WHATS THE RULE THESE DAYS ON HOW MANY STEWARDS YOUR SUPPOSED TO HAVE FOR EACH GAME )

10 MINS IT TOOK FOR A DARING MALE STEWARD TO ENTER THE FRAY AND MOVE THEM ON

ITS NOT AS THOUGH YOU WERNT WARNED !!!!! wasnt there several postings on this forum about the scum ellement causing trouble spitting at away fans during your friendlys namely millwall

Im sure 99.9% of ebbsfleet fans are great people so why cant the club manage to control that 0.1% of scum bags

SORT YOUR SEGREGATION OUT AND SORT THE STEWARDS OUT OR THE LACK OF THEM

PS no wonder Dick Turpin went north the prices at your food bar were highway robbery spend the money on recruiting more stewards and a cheif to organise the indians not a bunch of cowboys

When you say 'allowed to come into the away end', presumably you're referring to something we like to call 'an unsegregated game'?

It doesnt do Fleet any favours to mock the Northwich fan or to blame the Northwich fans for the problem without knowing the full facts.

The Northwich message board has several postings about the lack of segregation and the minority element of our "fans" who were looking for trouble - the matter does need looking into and clarifying (especially given the pre season problem). The confusion over the opening of the Ground for the Spurs match only adds to the Vics fans frustration - if it were the other way round, I guess this board would see similar postings from our travelling fans.

well said alan i posted the origanal comment and its nice to see some one who can see past there nose

i wish you all well for the coming season as the vast majority of fleet fans were superb dont let a dozen fans spoil your season ,

sort out the segregation now to stop it happening again isnt it sad that the bus had to be placed by the gate and held back to stop the mindless idiots having there moment

not being able to watch the match on tv is an inconvenience we can put up with but being able to watch the match without fear of trouble is a must

anybody from fleet who comes to watch the return game will be very well looked after

Bernard, there is no such thing as an "unsegregated game" in the Conference. While we all may from time to time wish that there wasn't segregation, the rules exist, end of argument.

Not quite sure of the incident WellRed refers, but I'll tell you what I witnessed. Around ten/fifteen minutes before half-time a youth in his late teens or early twenties walked probably half the length of the terrace and stood behind the Northwich drum, and proceeded to have a go at one of a group of a dozen of our more vocal fans. Why did he pick on this one individual? Who knows, but I suspect it was because the guy was smaller and a good deal older, and was fair game. The gent in question did make a short sharp response to the youth and then carried on with what he'd travelled across the country for, to watch a game of football. The youth continued to stand behind him in what I considered to be a threatening manner, with his mate two steps above him, waiting to step in no doubt if anything kicked off. The young lady stewarding the area did radio for assistance, and just prior to half-time the youth was moved on by male stewards. Thanks to both stewards involved i should add here. .... However the point is, this should not of occurred in the first place, and particularly as according to previous threads posted on your forum, it is something you have had a recent problem with.

Didn't see any problems post match, however I did note a couple of stewards strategiclly positioned at the car park entrance which I applaude as a good bit of forward planning; and let's face it what happens outside a football ground, while still not acceptable, is outside the juristiction of EUFC in my opinion.

Regarding the football, you were the better team; most certainly in the first ten minutes or so when our defence and midfield were still on the team bus I think. Thankfully we picked up a bit second half and made a bit more of a fight of it, and the result in fairness was about right.

I enjoyed my day, like I do on all my footballing travels, and despite the result. But please, sort out your segregation; you'll get far bigger crowds or smaller pockets of volatile away fans this season, and I'm sure you want the name of Ebbsfleet discussed for your achievements on the pitch, not incidents off it? Hope you take my comments onboard here. No sour grapes, no inaccuracy or overexaggeration, just the facts as I saw them.

Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Its about bloody time something is done before this escalates. What is going on? All these problems are not going to attract new support now or when the Ebbsfleet housing boom opens. Don't forget what ever gets started at our ground will be carried on when we travel. Who needs that? On the question of stewarding. What is the current situation? I have contacted the club 4 times now, email, letter even spoke on the phone about stewarding on match days but not one reply. Yet I keep hearing that they are crying out for help.

There where a couple of Vics fans standing next to me yesterday and my son asked me why the match wasn't segregated, I told him it was because the Northwich fans don't have a reputation for causing trouble and that there had never been a problem before.

I could be wrong but I believe the decision as to whether a match should be segregated or not is based entirely on the opposition fans, unfortunately it looks like we should segregate all matches because of our own morons.

Another minor point, why do the stewards send these morons back to the home end? We don't want them, chuck them out of the ground. If the same person gets chucked out on more than one occasion ban them.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Slarti. We've had excellent atmospheres at home matches against NV in the past, both before & after their brief period away from the NL top tier.

We really do need to act effectively against these people who are clearly just coming to the ground looking for ready targets. I remember travelling to Wealdstone & Hillingdon in the late 70s - early 80s. They were both quite successful Non League clubs at the time, now neither of them are anywhere & I couldn't give a flying f*ck - simply because neither club ever got to grips with the bunch of morons who used to stone our coach, yell abuse & rip up disabled supporters' hats.

If we allow our own minority element to get a foothold, the whole face of our club will be changed before we know it. They have to know that they cannot use our ground & our matches as a place to pick a no lose fight just to compensate for their own deep seated inadequacies. Preferably that means getting them arrested for breaches of the peace. If that is not feasible at the time then it means kicking them out & keeping them out.

I am really sorry that genuine Vics fans had to endure what happened yesterday & ashamed that the cretins that caused it pretend to support my club. I'd only dispute one thing. I wouldn't call the youth who tried to start the trouble a "thug" because to his misplaced mentality, that means you think he's hard. He's not hard , he' is a w*nker & deep down he knows it, which is why he tried to pick the fight he did yesterday.

And indeed on this occasion he was sent back to the home end! Quite visible stood by the group with the drum. Just for clarfication, he was wearing a white t shirt, fair short cropped hair and a ciggie hanging out of his mouth. Shame I didn't take a photo now. Cheers for some sensible responses btw.

I witnessed one of our fans being spat on at by one of your fans at your stadium last season.

Any yobs at football should be quite rightly banned first off, why give them a second chance?

Can we stop pretending this is just our problem? I have no doubts that the fans that travelled from Northwich yesterday were good honest fans that were not out to cause trouble, the yobs wont travel. When we come to your place later on in the year you won't see any of the yobs at our ground yesterday, just like we didn't see any of the yobs that were at yours last season.

Cannot one of our stewards be issued with a digital camera which will take short video clips with sound. (No I'm not lending them the one I used to use for posting videos on here!) We could use the evidence collected to put our bans in place. Sure some will just keep returning (& hopefully being identified & chucked out) but, at the very least, with this evidence against persistent offenders, surely we could get an ASBO (yes, I know on average these take about half a millennium to secure) served against them, specifying a ban from the ground & its vicinity, in addition to any ban of our own. The clips could be downloaded onto a Club PC & if the Bill weren't prepared to come & view them, they could be copied onto a small portable hard drive & taken to them.

My feeling is that possibly some people reading this thread know who Mr White T Shirt is. If they do & think it's an out of order grassing up offence to inform the club, then they've either got a lot of growing up still to do or they're living in some pretty warped moral universe.
