Ruislip Manor 0 St Margaretsbury 1

The new look Manor side went down to a goal just before the interval in a drab game between two well matched sides. The difference was that the Mags had a little more know how particularly at the back and though Manor had more possession they couldn't find a way through.

 

A draw would have probably been a fair result but the Mags hung on to record a good start to the season for them.

 

Great to meet up with Tubbsy too.

You really are sadly predictable rhodes (and yes I know I am answering your post) but such is you unhealthy desire to be the centre of everyones attention that you post tripe like this knowing it will get a reaction. Unfortunately for you the game today kicked off late therefore halftime was at 3.55 and full time was nearer 5. If your ears were burning at the times you mentioned its because your mobile overheated!!

It was indeed good to meet Tubbsy (a decent SANE chap for those that don't know him), I completely forgot to ask him about that pillock Rhodes, so his ears should have stayed cool unless he spent too much time in the sun at Buckingham.

Likewise guys nice to meet you all on a very warm day in Ruislip. A pleasing win for us and as you say a fairly equal game overall, were it not for some good saves by Smithers a draw would have been on the cards.
