The goal must have been a lucky deflection off one of those cows on that field.

Ash outplayed Raynes park and should have won comfortably. They had one shot on goal the whole match.

Won 3-2 against Bedfont Green, Pitch not the best but the game wasn't too bad. BG Went in front 55mins, We equalised on 68mins and got lucky with a back pass given against BG from which we scored on 78 mins, not surprising BG were steaming at the lino kent who gave it. 3-1 on 88 mins and BG pulled one back in injury time.

I truth a draw would have been fair, but well take the rub of the green and the points thank you smile

Different pitch this year JJ - go take a look - it's up there with the best. According to the NLP today, Cove start the season as title favourites!
the best.

Epsom & Ewell's opening day match postponed at Chertsey

It is rare to see matches postponed when we have failed to see rain, snow or frost in days prior to a match, but today's match away at Chertsey Town was postponed just before 2:30pm after just under an hour of discussions between the match officials on the pitch and telephone conversations with league officials which resulted in the officials deeming the pitch unfit to play the match upon. Chertsey have spent the close season relaying the whole pitch, but last week an outside contractor when mowing the pitch managed to leave tyre marks on the pitch which the match officials deemed were dangerous and as they have the responsibility of players safety they decided to postpone the match.

Epsom & Ewell F.C. apologise for the inconvenience to our supporters who made the trip to Chertsey Town but the decision and the lateness of the decision was outside the control of the club.
