Well, in his post above he said Bedford Town and qualified it with 'The Eagles' as well. I'm not certain that is what he meant, but I am certain that is what he wrote.

Forgive me for the confusion....

I am interested in Bedford Town....formerly of the Conference South and now of the British Gas Premier....

I thought theie nickname was the Eagles, as it was all over their website and a programme I purchased....

It is 'The Eagles', and a very nice pint of Eagle Bitter they used to purvey as well -- sadly no longer. That is if you can get served from the tiny bar servery in the huge clubhouse!

 

We thought you were interested in Bedford Utd until you mentioned Town and Eagles. Good luck with your season - you may need it.
