The reasons for watching the Manor are completely different to those for watching Watford, but you're too one dimensional to work out why that is. At the end of the day Watford will always come first for me, I don't really give a fig if that bothers you. The views of a prize tw@t like you are hardly important after all.
ps while we're on the question of teams we support maybe you can answer the question I posed you some months ago, about why you never attended any of the dozen or so away games your beloved Haringey played on days when there were no KTFC games?

Spidermanor - I take onboard your views on your beloved Watford and that's fair enough but given the choice I would prefer to watch football at non league level, even Lato has readily admitted that he wouldn't watch Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd or Liverpool if they played in his back garden. As for your question about watching Haringey away from home last season when Kentish Town weren't in action, I reluctantly decided to take the rare opportunity to watch our Reserves play in the Middlesex County League as embarrassing questions might have been asked by the Club's hierarchy otherwise.

And there was me thinking you were just a chicken, who was too scared to face up to the responsibility of his actions and words. Silly me.

Rhodes - it's so easy to prove you wrong. On 24th March & 7th April KT didn't have a game, the reserves did, Haringey were away. Where were you? Posting on here during match time. That's just 2 of the posiible dates, or when you say rare opportunity, do you just mean you saw them once?

HTFCew - I really don't know why you delight in checking up on me, what was the point in delving into the SSML and Middlesex County League archives of last season just to try and catch me out, surely you must have better things to do.

A report on Bedford 4 Royston Town 0, I'll be able to report back on Bedford tomorrow night as they could be the dark horses in Division 1 this season:

Bedford or Bedford Town.

By the way did you answer my question about the attendance at the Brentford v Bristol City game, why was it so small and were you present.

Too early to say who are the favourites in my mind. But Bedford are looking strong although their opposition may have been weak. Hoddesdon, I have been told, were no stronger than opposition in the Middlesex CFL.

Reports back from SLB are that the kids are coping well with the football. Once the 1st team are all back, it will interesting where SLB lie in respect to the leaders.

Bedford Town (The Eagles)

The attendance for the Bees Bristol City game was poor, as many fans are still on holiday..and others did not feel confident of success in the carling Cup this year.

However the League attendance v Mansfield was encouraging compared to our last game in the basement division of the football league...about 500 more than 10 years ago....

We also brought 450 fans to Notts County on Saturday...contributing to a 3,500 crowd in a substantial way.

where is your report Rhodesy ??? !!!

Surely not that many fans are on holiday to take over 1000 off the gate, Bristol City was quite an attractive fixture and they must have brought at least 1000 of the total gate as it's just over an hour up the M4.

I'll put the Bedford report up on the 18 August thread rather than this one.
