FLEET SIGN TYNAN

Recommended Posts

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish has moved swiftly to sign cover for the club's injured England goalkeeper, Lance Cronin.

Cronin will miss the Fleet's season opener at home to Northwich Victoria with a finger injury and Daish has drafted in former Barnet and Rushden & Diamonds keeper Scott Tynan to deputise.

Twenty three year old Tynan has also appeared for Hereford, Telford and Nottingham Forest since starting his career at Wigan Athletic.

I can see Mott being very annoyed, he never seems to get an opportunity to prove himself - Perhaps Daish will keep Tynan on the bench??

Do remember seeing Tynan last season and was very impressed, not a bad signing but as I say, would like to see Mott rise to the occassion.

Appreciate that. He is one for the future. But IMHO he isn't strong enough at this level. I would loan him out for a season so he can get regular football and get some experience.

We need to have cover.

Whether Tynan or Mott starts tomorrow who would you have on the bench in case of injury?
