Quart in a pint pot

Having seen four of the PSF's so far I have to say that I have enjoyed them - not worried about the analysis at this stage.

However, at Sittingbourne last night I, as an ex-pat, did ask a few of the regulars what the previous name of the "Quart in a Pint Pot" pub in Charlotte Square was. For those with a long memory when the Thanet Senior Sunday League was reconstituted in 1957 the meeting was held there.

Everyone I asked could remember there being another name, might have been something "Castle" (not to be confused with the Walmer Castle in Cranbourne Alley).

Anyone here any ideas - or perhaps there was someone there last night who didn't get asked?

Just to set an ex-pat's mind at rest.

Looking forward to the season proper.
