AFC Wimbledon

Thought we played well last night against a reasonably strong Wimbledon side. On balance 2-1 to them was probably a fairish result, but overall was a good test for us and second half in particular I thought we had much more possession and carved out the better opportunities. With players still to come back from injury I think things are shaping up ok. Also thought the pitch looked very good last night, well done to Gouldy for all his hard work on it.

Casey scored right at the end with, and I can't believe I am going to say this, a superb overhead kick from the edge of the area.

I thought we looked a bit shoddy in the first 30 mins or so but after that we played some good stuff and looked the more likely team to score. A draw would probably of been a fair result in the end.

 

It looked like it was a good run out for the team and there were definitely more positives than negatives. If we play like that for the rest of the season we will be thereabouts come April.
