From this mornings East Anglia Daily Times:-

Quote:
TEDDY Sheringham insists that he is “fit and raring to go,” despite acknowledging that he is still lacking in match-sharpness... ...“I'm not 100%, that's for sure, but I'm fit and I'm available,” revealed Sheringham at yesterday's Media Day at Layer Road. “I missed a couple of weeks with a calf problem, but I've trained for the last 10 days and I got my lungs going with 20 minutes action against Bolton."

All support welcome Ryan, you included. I could not care less wether any records are played at any ground, I'm there for the football which provides plenty enough entertainment. I understand our playing budget has increased again this year.

Matchday volunteers are entitled to a pint & a roll, but surely that would not entice Gazza, would it?

Reasonable crowd last night 481, I heard your third goal was a belter, with their keeper getting injured in the process.

Terrific performance, ok it was a reserve Colchester team but still on paper tough opposition.

Strong performances from ALL players, great energy and committment, if we can keep that up we should go well.

And a new lease of life for Lee Hodges. He often struggled to play much beyond 45 minutes last year - has he had a bionic knee and engine transplant. Well done Lee.
