Brilliant day but a rubbish result after losing 4-3 after being 3-0 up at half time.

 

Clacton deserved to win to be honest. We looked lethargic and didn't adapt well to the sweltering conditions. Matt Reade scored twice with Ruggy getting the other goal.

 

Strange game and not sure what to make of today's action.

Canvey Island brought around 100 supporters with them who created an excellent atmosphere and were a credit to their club.

Really good bunch of lads the Clacton fans. They've had an appalling time of it recently so credit to them. Thought their team played very well.

 

Did we have Sean Hillier on trial with us about 6 years back? Would have been about the same time we signed Boylan. Name seems familiar.

 

Have to admit I can't recall us singing Bohemian Rhapsody at any games. Maybe they were impressed that me and Linney joined in with them.
