whilst your doing the 'where are they now page' what about an all time 'top scorers' list and 'appearances'...?

and no doubt you can use your superior p.c. skills to update it automatically from the stats page, once the intial info has been fed in...

Hard to believe but Merv, (unlike me) does not spend all of his spare time sitting in front of his laptop typing away!!

Always happy to receive new ideas for the site but, as Matt says, time is usually at a premium. The 'Where Are They Now' page was easy because all you lot did all the research for me. Once the info was posted on the discussion board it was very quick and easy for me to do the technical bits and create a new page, put in all the links, create a table and then add a few twiddly bits.

 

However, getting all the data on Top Scorers and Appearances would involve a several hours research - hours I simply don't have if I still want to be the club's test pilot for the 1664. The website has past seasons in the archive but, to be honest, I don't know if all the data is there for the season before I created the statistics page in its present format.

 

I will take a look but the easy answer is, if someone else will do the research and email it to me, I'll do it. If they don't, I'll have to think about it.

 

However, in spite of all that, thanks for the suggestion. One of the reasons why our website is one of the best is the interaction between fans/club/webmasters. We couldn't run our site without it.
