Further to my last post these also both played for us today but I see that they have featured in your friendlies two....have they been released?

Don't know about released, I think they both came through the Pase system don't know if they actually had contracts to be released from, Coleman played a few for Ashford last season and Akinde looks pretty promising.

Good luck to both of them, maybe if they have a good season for The Gate we might see them back at The Fleet in the future.

I see you have signed Rob Owen as well, good luck Rob, is having played for The Fleet a pre-requisite to signing for Margate these days?

My bad, glad we sorted that out, would be a shame to lose Liam. Im pretty sure Akinde was on the bench against charlton tho

Cool, these guys went to my school in sixth form, as part of the PASE team. Meopham School!! Also, Jimmy, i am constantly reminiscing about the goal Tostao Kwashi scored for Fleet in the 02/03 season for fleet against Burton, where he Back heel volloyed in on the last minute of the game!! Class, but where is he now?!?!?

Seems to be the case. Either that or our manager is just plain lazy and can't be ar$ed to go further afield.

We appear to have signed Akinde and Coleman (Luke) now according to our website. Hope they turn out as well as the other players we got from you. Many thanks lads. Great start to yr season, keep it up.
