Hanwell Town 2 Sport London e Benfica 0

I would have thought that Cockfosters would have been on by now to let everyone know what we laid on for them last season following the infamous game on 30 December, no expense was spared.

So it was a selection of sandwiches and some individual Mr Kipling cherry bakewells then?

Put it this way, you were in the 'boardroom' at Coles Park after the 9-0 game and sampled what was on offer, quadruple that and it will give you a rough idea of the sort of fayre we put on. We tend to go more for roast potatoes, sausages and chips as sandwiches/rolls and bog standard sausage rolls can get boring after a while. I will be interested to see what Sport London e Benfica put on, hopefully 3praise will let us know after Haringey's game there on 29 August but I have a suspicion that he won't be posting anymore.

How did you cope with cooking these when most of your home games were played away?

Club's like Cranfield United, Ampthill Town, Sun Postal Sports and Winslow United put on that sort of fayre themselves so we just paid them the going rate, they were really good about it and nothing was too much trouble.

Ignorance once again is bliss with Rhodes. In Division 2 where Kentish Town played last season, providing food is not obligatory, however, in the the Premier it is, and we coped very well thankyou!

Rhodes, you should really stick to what you know, even if what you kniw is very little!

Yes I remember Harefield United's fayre which proves my point that bog standard sandwiches and rolls can get boring, they have a nice little Committee room and are very friendly people, it just makes you wonder how Browndog can be part of their Club but doubt he's on the Committee.

The new audios can be listened to on the sci fi channel website as 5 min webisodes and are also just being released on cd.

Thanks - I only have a couple of episodes on video.

I have every episode on video which I recorded from UK Gold years ago, have also an original Liberator model somewhere around the house. Met Paul Darrow a couple of years ago, very nice bloke.

You must be having a laugh. After that 'infamous' game - Cockfosters returned to the dressing room to discover - no hot water - money and mobiles stolen - food not served immediately after the game. Players totally pi55ed off - decided to do the "Foxtrot Oscar" and returned to Chalk Lane. Yes, we were made very welcome - real red carpet stuff.

Back then she certainly was Lato, a lot better than Jacqueline Pearce (Servalan) which everyone seemed to rave about!

If you want to watch any episodes HTFCew try youtube, abit of a pain that the episodes are split into 9 minutes each but still very watchable.

I've actually got a complete set of the BBC videos, all the episodes from all 4 series that I'd like to get rid of (£25 the lot) if anyones interested. As mentioned earlier I've got them on DVD now (ta Lato) and also need the shelf space.

Jaquie Pearce is a wonderful lovey, her performances as Servalan are very understated compared to her natural personality.

What are you talking about, the food was ready and waiting in the Clubhouse immediately after the infamous game which finished at 5.00, you weren't exactly sociable and I don't think you even came in to get it meaning that we and the officials filled our boots, I don't think I ate again for two days. When speaking to the officials afterwards they readily admitted that they had made a bad mistake and should have abandoned the game, the Referee felt that the conditions played right into your hands.

No, I'm appalled of Tunbridge Wells by these accusations, okay there was no hotwater due to the boiler breaking down but it's funny that we didn't bat an eyelid, it's a man's game afterall.
