Length of time its taking it really ought to be an all-singing, all-dancing site; I put together 2 little websites which look pretty clever in just over a week and a half and I don't know what I'm doing...

When the new design was online it did look very good, though bit worried about the site's requirement for a user to have javascript.

But the total of web users who don't have JavaScript enabled is around 5-7% - it's like anyone left with an analogue telly in a few years time will have to haul their ass into the 21st century.

 

And most web users wouldn't know how to disable Javascript on an up-to-date browser anyway I reckon.

Many setups block Javascript from working, despite the fact that few people use something, it's still good practice to cater for the minorities. Websites should in reality work on all mainstream browsers correctly with little or no reliance on third party apps preferably with support for 800x600. And digital TV isn't actually available everywhere, which is why they're introducing FreeSat for those who can't get FreeView.
