Nothing was wrong with the old site but everything has room for improvement.

 

The site's far from done, basically we've copied across the old content but there's still a lot of new content left to add.

Nothing wrong with the look and feel but you might want to look at the content. The report of the Charlton game is very poor, both in terms of its factual accuracy and grammar. No matter how good a site looks or how many gizmos it has if the contents crap people will not re-visit.

I cleaned up the match report, but I don't see what's inaccurate in it.

Its innaccurate because the scorers are in the wrong order!

Purcell got the first, charlton equalised, chukki the second, Debolla 3rd, Nade than sachas awesome finish.

 

The news shopper article is the only place i have found so far that has got it right

Check out the '5-1 tonight' thread and the official site for the correct sequence of goal scorers. I beleieve the official site also carried similar inacurracies for a while.....

Ah ok, I was in the turnstiles for the first few goals and when I looked at both the official Fleet and Charlton site that was the order it was in.

What about your other staff, didn't they see the goals, surely they could have written a report because they saw the whole game.

 

I hope one of your other staff will be writing reports in future, would look odd if they were written by someone who won't be attending most matches this season come October time, because of uni.
