Gordon boateng leaves brimsdown

Recommended Posts

A footballing lesson as I remember and your former club captain Daniel Young will confirm as he has done on numerous occasions, Kentish were excited and surprised to leave with a point. Subs running on the pitch squirting water bottles, players screaming like they'd won the league (as if) and total julbilation from the whole Kentish outfit.

Brimo on the other hand were disappointed and upset with ONLY a point, I think you can see the Psyche of the two clubs. And quite obviously the only person who that day in history rankles with is yourself, because it mistakenly gave you false hope that you could go on a achieve something. Although you did achieve 6th place I suppose and you did manage to get 10 goals smashed past your keeper in the next two fixtures against Brimo. So all in all a good season for Kentish I suppose.

Oh and when's your team err sorry star striker out? Will he be allowed to play away games? I mean with a tag on he has to be in by 7 doesn't he?

No, clip Rods had that false hope long before they played Brimsdown despite others telling him otherwise. But, as you've probably noticed, he isn't the greatest listener in the world.

MrGallis - You might want to familiarise yourself with the match report, you must be thinking of another game:

Saturday 14 October 2006

Spartan South Midlands League Division 1

Brimsdown Rovers 2 Kentish Town 2

Town scaled new heights this afternoon, if that's possible, by entering the lions den to take on title favourites Brimsdown Rovers who had a 100% league record before play. Town gave their illustrious opponents the fright of their lives in a pulsating encounter and very nearly pulled off the impossible with Rovers on the ropes in the final stages with the score locked at 2-2.

Town found themselves a goal down with only a minute on the clock when a cross from the right was deflected into his own net by Aaron Hutchins however rather than being put off by this setback Town's players did not bat an eyelid and proceeded to take the game to Rovers who were clearly not used to being dictated to by visiting teams. Lee Scott missed a good opportunity to equalise when he found himself in more space than he realised and Daniel Young also had a good chance when just failing to control the ball in front of goal when in the clear. At the other end Rovers had two decent opportunities themselves to increase their lead and James Noonan was in a confident mood, in front of his watching Father, with some superb handling that frustrated the home front line.

Town's Tom McMullen was harshly booked shortly before the 35 minute mark when a long ball out of defence found it's way up to Lee Scott in space and Town's top goalscorer coolly bided his time before slotting the ball clinically past the advancing keeper for his ninth league strike of the season.

James Noonan was booked just before the interval by a pernickety Referee for complaining that his boot was split yet Mr Farrelly would not listen and may have wrongly assumed that Town's Captain was trying to waste time with the whistle for the break about to sound.

Town brought on Aaron Serieux for the second period and Rovers missed a golden opportunity just after the restart when the ball was put into the side netting from close range when it looked easier to score. Town's left back Daryl Malcolm was then booked as Town started to play the ball around in their trademark style greatly frustrating the home side who by this time knew that they were in the game of their lives. On 66 minutes however Rovers retook the lead when following an attack the ball fell kindly for Ashley Taylor-Forbes who's snap shot appeared to go in off both posts much to their delight. Town then proceeded to bring on fresh legs and Terry O'Leary and Chris Zanre entered the fray for Thomas Looney and Shaka Cole respectively. This proved to be a masterstroke by Manager Frank Zanre and Coach Clement Temile despite one or two eyebrows being raised and on 86 minutes a superb ball out of defence by O'Leary found Lee Scott on the left who unselfishly squared the ball to Tom McMullen, who had miraculously appeared in the six yard box, and he slid the ball home from an almost sitting position. This was no more than Town deserved for their battling display, indeed there was still time left on the clock for Town to create a half chance that may well have won the game in the dying seconds. Daryl Malcolm was harshly dismissed for a second bookable offence which left a sour taste in the mouth following his man of the match display.

Town travel to struggling Harpenden Town on Saturday, kick off 3.00. in a hope of regaining top spot in the table.

Town Team: Noonan, B McMullen, Malcom, T McMullen, Hutchins, Young, Kanaris, Cole, Scott, Dawson, Looney. Subs: O'Leary, Serieux, Zanre.

Err sorry rhodesy, this is inadmissable evidence as you wrote it, and are ever so slightly biased. Produce a report written by a neutral observer to justify your position otherwise you'll just be laughed at again.

Now where's that list, and please remember I simplified the criteria for you last week, so you only have to provide information pertaining to Mr Temiles non league football coaching career. There is no need to try and imaginatively tie a few weeks coaching work experience he did at charlton as part of a training course. Ta

How do you come to the conclusion that I wrote the above report

Thank you Spidermanor the words have been taken out of mouth.

Rhodes lets just say that report wasn't written by you and was written by someone sensible, erm sorry neutral. All you've managed to do is further emphasise the point that Kentish are an average Div 1 side who's major achievement last year was drawing a game with the eventual champions. Who finished 28 points ahead of Kentish might I add.

So lets get on with the original request, Mr Temiles non league coaching credentials. And should you require, I shall search for Mr Boatengs for you, although I'm sure these will be easier to obtain as they actually exist.

This should be fun!

I bid (on Gordon's behalf) one Capital League title and one SSMFL Div 1 title, your bid Rhodes!

Bearing in mind 'the great one' has only been involved in Non League circles for roughly two seasons, with Haringey Borough and ourselves, the answer to the question is unsurprisingly none. Gordon on the other hand is somewhat of a journeyman and considering all he has won is one Capital League, one SSMFL Division 1 title and the SSML Division 1 Cup it's not overly impressive in my opinion.

What!? You are unbelievable! No-one else could try and represent 0-3 as a victory. Somewhat of a journeyman? He is still in his mid 20's - I do not know of any other football coach/manager of that age who has won two league titles!
I have no wish to attack Mr Temile, it's you and your silly claims that I (and everyone else except your lapdog The Spursfan) take issue with. Do Mr Temile a favour and let his team do his talking for him. If, and it's a very, very big if, Kentish Town win anything in the forseeable future, then we will permit you a little smug satisfaction, Gavin style!

Now than, that wasn't too painfull was it rhodesy.

Right now we've ascertained that the score is Mr Temile 0 Mr Boateng 2, all you need to do is say sorry for claiming otherwise (anyone want to run a sweepstake on how long that will take?).

Over to you our dear old bitterly twisted jealous ex secretary.

Seeing how you haven't as yet given me the unreserved apology I asked for following the dispicable way you and Lato behaved towards me at Hamilton Hall then I don't see why I should.

Aaaaahhh, poor little lamb has no defence so he sticks his thumb in his mouth and bleats. What sad loser you are rhodesy.

But of course if you want to play childish little tit for tat games no problem. As you seem to be forgetting that you owe both myself and Lato a number of unreserved apologies yourself, for numerous disgraceful comments you made about us personally last season as well as a number of slanderous statements about the club.

Your call schoolboy.

Just to add depth to this Gordon has actually won the Capital league with Bishop Stortford at 24 years old and he also won a first team competition with the reserves as well. Then he won the Div 1 cup twice with Brimsdown and the league. Looks like 5-0 and he's only 27 this year!!!!

Rhodes looks like as well as making yourself look like a mug, you're making your manager look like one too!

MrGallis - What about Gordon's playing career then, did he play Internationally for his Country like 'the great one' did. Anyway why don't you ask his opinion of Clement when he next comes into your dressing room during a home game, I'm sure he won't talk him down as there appeared to be some mutual respect between the two of them at Goldsdown Road last season.

His playing career is irrelevant, YOU made a comment about his coaching ability without anything to back it up (as usual). That is the issue under discussion rhodesy, so stop trying to divert attention away from your responsibilty to apologise for your crassly insensitive behaviour old man.

But can the "Non-achieving one" balance the ball on the back of his neck, spin around in a cricle and sing the national anthem while downing an ice chilled Magners like Gordon?

Behave Rhodes I think you've have lost your touch old boy as you choose yet again to ignore the point in hand.

And there is no need to question Gordon on his level of respect regarding anyone as the only person who lacks respect and the ability to acknowledge others outside their respective clubs or groups would be you!

Besides how many internationals have tried coaching and failed in spectacular fashion Ruud Gullit, World class international failed with Chelsea and Newcastle for example. Where as an average player, Arsene Wenger or Sven Goran Ericsson are both world class coaches with proven credentials.

My advise for you Clip is accept you've lost and don't go there!

Of course 'the great one's' playing career isn't irrelevant infact it couldn't be more relevant as he played at the very top of the World stage and stayed there for nearly a decade paving the way for greater things to come for the Super Eagles during the 90's. I repeat what did Gordon Boateng achieve Internationally
