I'm not embarrassed to admit that I will be supporting Israel on Saturday as well as for the reason that should 'we' lose then that will finally spell the end of MacLaren which I'm sure everyone, including Spidermanor, wants to see.

Rhodes, you really are an odd one and I have difficulty working out the real you.

I can only assume you put such comments on here to stir/wind up people and it is all a big game to you. This must surely be the case with all your past comments about supporting your local teams i.e. Haringey boro and supporting your local side how can you then justify supporting Israel against your own country the one in which you were born (I assume)and live as well as its people who pay your wages do they not?

Tubbsy8 - Please don't get me wrong as I bleed red white and blue and work for Her Majesty as you know but put it this way, if Toto scores the winner on Saturday then Kentish Town will get their own stadium built in the London Borough of Camden

'tomorrow' so can you blame me.

I wonder if messrs hill and coral will be building the stadium?

I would like to have been there when our cec strolled in to the betting shop when england came out in the draw with israel

" I predict that my mates son will score the winner against England at Wemberley, and I would like to place a Hector on it please!"

(i Hope Mr Valera is/was a tenor Wader, loved the album cover and comment!) "

If rhodes wants to support Israel because the estranged son of the coach of the team that he is the publicity officer of plays for them then let him.(sounds like a verse of Rolf harris's Court of King Caractacus).

I actually want to see the continuation of Mclaren in charge of England as it will mean the same as it has always been...namely nothing! England should do better as a footballing nation but they haven't got the players and thus the coaches to compete with European football and haven't had for the last 40 years. There is a good infra structure in England and they should really do better on a world level but are now finding the same problems with the national side that the Italians experienced when their league was full of foreigners and that France did for many years and that Spain always have!

As for coaches well in my opinion the two best national coaches in Europe are both Dutch and both manage Eastern European nations namely Hiddink and Beenhakker. Not sure how long either will last in his present position and the FA could have done worse than employ either of them after WC2006 rather than foolishly pursue Scolari. Mind you I think Hiddink had already been signed by the Russians prior to leaving Australia

I can see Hector Varela becoming as well known, if not more so, than 'the great one' during the course of this season, he is already pulling up trees and has the players eating out of the palm of his hand. As I've said before he's actually more tactically astute than Clement if that's possible probably due to cutting his teeth at Ajax.

That's right, why do you ask.

By the way I see that your mate made his ninth post earlier on today, I'm surprised you haven't responded in order to massage his ego.
