IDIOTS BEHIND THE GOAL

1 TOOTH

Recommended Posts

As a big supporter of the fleet, i was totally ashamed of our so called fans tonight against a youth team.we have a very good and loud bunch of fans behind the goal but those few idiots that always cause trouble should be banned from the ground and the pricks that stand / sit near them should not start egging them on.we will start getting a bad name for our selves. When those few charlton supporters were were being thrown out of the grond our so called fans were giving it big time to them.As far as i am concerned we were as bad as them and we should have had some of our SO CALLED FANS chucked out as well.we were a disgrace to ebbsfleet utd.i hope that you few idots think about what you did tonight and dont do it again.SORRY TO ALL THOSE CHARLTON SUPPORTERS WHO HAD TO PUT UP WITH WHAT WENT ON BEHIND THE GOAL, GOOD LUCK TO CAFC FOR THE NEW SEASON.

yep the same faces you often see hand gesturing and shouting fowl mouthed obsenities during a game. Normally only when they are all standing at the back in their little huddle protected by their little gang.Sure its part of football you see it all the time at large teams/grounds, but lets face it we are a small family club and most of those sitting around this lot are mums/dads with kids.I think its more noticable now because of the location , where as when it was standing behind the goal it all seemed to go on unnoticed. All said they do add to the atmosphere and make lots of noise, so fair play to them on that score, but in all honesty, i think they should be aware of some of their fellow mates actions during a game.I was told of a spitting incident last night, if this is true, well that is just plain discusting, and if i remember, was this not something that happened at northwich last season. if not i stand corrected and apologise for it.....

I didnt hear about the spitting incident, but similar things of that nature did happen at the Northwich game last season, by the same small group of thugs.

I was totally embarassed by last nights fiasco, luckily the expected 3000 didnt turn up, would have driven more fans away. This is the case with every club, and it's those select few who give football clubs a bad name.

The 'fan' who got arrested, I hope he gets a ban.

I would also like to point out the efficiency of the steward behind the goal, and I took note of this. The fan went over to the Charlton fan, squared up to him, the steward just stood still and watched, it was a while before they grabbed each other, then he finally got on his walkie talkie, that steward last night could not be bothered! Bring back Craig, he would have done a better job!

Insinuating that the opposition fans are 'chickens' really is unacceptable.

I found it most amusing against Millwall. Some behind the goal offering the their lot to have a go. I think I'd know where I would put my money. Having seen the size of a few Millwall fans against ours it was like Gullivers Travellers.

the steward behind the goal was his first time as will be some of the other's so please give them a chance, also craig is first aid trained so he can not be tide down to any one postion any more as much as he will miss you lot. he will also like to thank the two fans who help out at the millwall match

So your saying no lesson was learnt after the Millwall, so called friendly.

I didn't see anything go on personally, did anything kick off then?

No not much!!

Its the same prats week in week out - two or three 'fans' are 'possibly' causing the loss of a great many more and banning them would be the correct move. Absolute prats. loads of kids present - shouting out the c word and grabbing opposition fans by the throat!! classy!

Seems like there are quite a few people who have noticed the same problem week in week out, so why let them stand where they do in amonst the seats affecting the normal happy person and their kids from sitting and enjoying the game. If they want to act the way they do chuck em back up the back of the side stand out the way again. You go to some grounds and they won't even let drums / instruments in, so if our lot want to abuse this freedom, why have them on full display causing a bloody scene each week.

You're talking about congenital idiots, COE. I doubt they care which 'side' anyone is on as long as they get to lock their one brain cell with someone.

I agree. There were a lot of families with young kids at the game. The sort of respectable people that we want to attract for our future. Get the foul mouthed louts with the drum out or a least move them off the seated stand.

Have you noticed that they actually spend very little time watching the game?

Why are allowed to break the fire regulations rules by standing in an all seated area?

Correct me if I'm wrong but as long as you're standing in front of a seat, you're not breaking any regulations. The stewards do enforce this rule!

Also, please stop tarnishing us all with the same brush! Rarely we (the hardcore lot who go to most away games) start songs with foul language in. 90-95% of the time it's those who everyone else on here is refering to that start obscene songs, and a few stray kids join in - none of the hardcore fans around there do!

I do not condone what happened in the slightest nor was I present at the moment of the actual incident, but I have been contacted by said person and he asked me to explain the situation. Basically the charlton fan approached Steve first as we all saw. Then walked along the front of the stand signalling to all of us, he then returned to his seat still signalling to the stand. this was the point when I went to the toilet. I am told he then called Steve over and grabbed Steve by his top tearing it in the process at this point the scurmish was brought under control by stewards and eventually police, as no one could prove how and who started it both persons were asked to leave the ground. He has also asked me to say that he is not banned from further mathes. a As I say I'm just doing a favour here not condoning what happened.
