great three points, thats six from the nmighty promotion chasing hertford, well done urchins.

sorry, what, bottom of the league, you are joking aren't you. they were better than we were.

how long is this kidology going to continue before someone does something about it. The score could have been 6-2 to hertford and anyone with half a brain watching that game knew that. When is the management team going to find the balls to do their job and kick woods out. 8 goals, three games, 6 from set pieces, all inside thwe 6 yards, never came for one. Colliers fits the bill if kharine doesn't want to mix his duties. the team dont trust him, anyone can see that.

as for the rest of them, good players dont become bad players, no confidence and no direction from marsden. we need a couple of decent heavyweight defenders, why haven't we been busy in the market place, we need bite at the back, not midfielders playing out of position, timeing is critical now. if we go to nortwood and play like that I fear for the club, we will be humiliated.

when the tough times come, tough guys come into their own, lets see what marsden and his management team are made of now. (interesting to see that the only one of them shouting instructions to the team last night was karine), he knew what was happenening out there, the others just sat there looking at there watches.

Jamie as captain, best decision marsdens made this year, then again we have had 8 captains already theis season so one more didn't matter. yes, its true, eight. martin booked again for telling the ref to f*** off, three times was it. is someone going to put him in his place and fine him a weeks wages, that will shut him up.

no striker on the bench and nathan off after 30 minutes, great stuff with stowie in the clubhouse while all this was going on. does anyone know what they are doing or is it all a big laugh. its not funny if you have to watch it all. someone please do something beforwe its to late. stop dithering marsden and sort it out properly, not the easy way, there isn't one.

well done for the three points urchins but stop kidding yourselves and get real.

Lets face it, last night we got lucky, again. Like you say, Hertford could have beaten us, we were most probably spared by their poor finishing and by riding our luck! I thought that we showed more passion and effort than we have in recent weeks, which is a major plus point and credit must go to Mick for that. However, last night we were hopeless, we looked like headless chickens out there, players didn’t seem to know what position they were supposed to be playing in and for that, Mick must shoulder the blame. And what goes on in training, certainly little practice is made at defending set pieces!! Don’t agree with dropping Woody, he IS a good keeper and he can blame the hopeless defence to some degree for the recent goals, although, Woody certainly isn’t blameless for a number of the goals we have conceded. Yet, he has proved his worth countless times this season.

At long last, finally someone out there trying his hardest to marshal the troops, at last, we could hear our players shouting, first time they have done that practically all season. At the end of the day, the win was the important factor, yet I am under no illusions, what we saw last night was not a massive improvement on what we have been seeing for the past weeks, months, over there. I’m not holding out for much from Northwood on Saturday!

thats the problem, everyone likes woods, management, officials and fans alike, and they are all afraid to make the decision to drop him. If we want to get up this year, marsden doesn't have a choice, the defenders aren't to blame for the failures to come for balls in the six yard box, they shouldn't be in there anyway, woods has always let the defenders in to deep and he lacks the authority to keep them out (or confidence)

there is not another team in the country that would leave one of the most experienced goalkeepers in the world on the bench, alright karines an assistant manager but he can still play and i accept that he made a few ricketts when he played thoise three games, (and i've never blamed him for the berko incident, these things happen in football) but how many goals did he concede from set pieces, non. how many times did you see a defender in karines six yard box from set pieces, never. Colliers also fit and busting a gut to get out there. its tough but woods hasd to go, we need confidence between the posts not a dithering uncertain young man glued to his goaline and frightening the life out of the team. its madness. 16 goals conceded this year from set pieces, are we crazy or just kidding ourselves, the statistics speak loudest. i know its tough on woods but the clubs more important. he's only young, his time will come.

on a further point that i cannot understand, why wasn't stowe on the bench, are we restricted to the number of subs now, not unless the rules have changed. anyway,

yes the three points were important but i'm not going to kid myself. thankfully i wont be able to go to the game on saturday anway because of work. perhaps a blessing.

i've always been a woods supporter and will confess that when kharine came here i thought the club had gone mad, can't disagree with the 'clear sighted' posts though, time for a change i'm afraid to say.

Fair enough, you are entitled to your opinion on Woody, I personally think that until a couple of games ago our defence and our keeper looked sound. However, I suppose 8 goals conceded in the last 4 games speaks for itself. I think that Kev Marsden back fit and in the team will make a big difference. A long term view on the weakness of the team has to be our lack of goalscoring, which has cost us countless points this season. Whether that is down to the forwards or to a lack of service is open to debate (a bit of both in my opinion). Have decided to give the Northwood game a miss as well, I’d love it if we get something from that game, but honestly can’t see how we can, given our recent performances. Please prove me wrong though lads!

good to see the differing opinions....I won't pass comment about individual players but will say this....a good team does not become a bad team...all teams go through difficult times....we are always available to be critisised...thats what success does...we are second in the league....be proud of the season so far...Mick will sort out any problems we have...he's not going to let anyone down...nor are the team...yes Northwood will be a difficult game...me...well I think we can beat them if Mick gets clever.....if we can beat them...the whole thing opens up again and doubts will creep into the other promotion contenders....
