I didn't realise you had PM'd me, I'll check now and the tome will be in the post first class tomorrow. I had some with me on Saturday, hence the bag I was carrying, and could have easily given you one then had you introduced yourself.

Eagles1981 - I simply feel that a trip to Leverstock Green's Pancake Lane home will be a bridge too far for you that's all but at least it will give you the opportunity of visiting one of the top Premier Division Club's early in the season which will be a World away from some of the park pitches you played on in the Middlesex County League last season.

Leverstock are developing into one of the top Premier Division sides and have some potent players with three strikers who would walk into any team in the division and probably several a level above. Still it's a good barometer for you and I wish you well in the match.

 

We've got an interesting draw and our first ever midweek game at Hoddesdon which will be difficult.

Yes, what a difference to playing at places like Parkfield Youth Old Boys, Walthamstow Avenue & Pennant, Wraysbury, Spelthorne Sports, Willesden Constantine, Bison, Marsh Rangers and FC Deportivo Galicia, they must feel that all their Christmas's have come at once.

Horace - I had wondered what happened to certain posts on another's Forum but I don't believe any of my own posts were actually removed. Furthermore I have to say I'm surprised at the great man, as you call him, resorting to such tactics as I'm sure he wants his Forum to be as successful as Ian's in popularity however that's not the way to go about it. I have it on good authority that his viewing figures more than trebled when the handbagging between me and Eagles1981 was taking place on his Sport London e Benfica thread and Swan matches shares nosedived but now they're right up there again with Taylor Wimpey, Capital and Regional, EasyJet and SkyBsb.
