Half time....score still Margate 1-0 Chatham

Nick Moir is a young lad...small build...turned in the box and found the top corner for the goal.

Bagley should have made it 2-0 just before half time...1 on 1 with the keeper he tried to go round him...but was stopped by some smart goalkeeping.

Thanks for the updates TBM-anymore team news would be great.

It seems to be a bit more than just a reserve side ,(not that that matters)so even more 'black marks' for the club not notifying supporters of the fixture.

Reserves v Canterbury at HDP tomorrow ?

Finished 1-1

Bowles, Macca and Smith all completed 90 mins.

Many changes made in the 2nd half...disrupted the flow of the game slightly, as is the norm in friendlies.

A fair performance all in all...from a team made up of mainly fringe players and trialists.

Thanks go to Ryan Day for the updates.

Thanks Jeff.

Is Dan Young from reserves (captain straight away !! -or possible new defender/)

How did Payne play.

We just seem so short of central defenders.

Intersting that RT put Smith 'back' to full back-at least by his number if not actuall where he played

Young played against E&B on Saturday, read somewhere that he's a former Derby apprentice but couldn't find anything about that on the net. He looks quite assured and Payne seems ok too - fairly solid without doing anything that's really eye-catching. As Payne's been involved in all the games so far I'd have thought it's fairly likely he'll sign. Don't think anybody new and/or young has really stood out so far in pre-season.
