Having now read the item on the 'official' website, I take back my comments about last Saturday's Northfleet Carnival as being "a missed opportunity".

Reads like it is an excellent attempt to increase the club's profile locally.

Hopefully the first of many such events?

It's got to be a step in the right direction and all credit to the club ,BUT as has been stated this must be the start of a concentrated effort by the club to raise our profile at every given opportunity, when the likes of Charlton are encroaching on our doorstep, we really have to got to be more proactive.

Maybe the new station can have a similar name-change to Greenhithe's:

"Greenhithe for Bluewater"

and

"Ebbsfleet International for The Home of the Fleet"

 

Thatll raise the profile of the club, doubt anyone had heard of Bluewater before you could get a bus straight form the station!

Saw the massive advert in town tonight, at the bus stops outside tesco, great publicity, I'll be popping down there before Eastbourne.

 

Gotta find out how to get there yet. Kenny? Are you driving?

I thought I would show a bit of support by having a wander over town in me new shirt (and other appropriate clothing). If a few of us did that it might make for an even bigger showing in the town on the day?
