Guildford City @ Merrow FC - 7pm KO Tonight

Directions are up on the Official site and this morning I received the following email from the Guildford secretary:

 

"The facilities at Merrow are fairly basic, whilst the pitch and changing rooms are very good, I would advise spectators to take their own refreshments. I doubt if the Clubhouse facility will be open and I know it is not licenced to supply alcohol.

 

After the match all are invited to come back to the 'City Club' which is situated in Guildford, but of course this may be a diversion from normal routes home, so understandably may not be convenient for some..

 

It is unfortunate for us that we are not able to play friendlies on our home pitch which of course has all the facilities.

I hope the Slough supporters understand our unfortunate situation."

Please could some one give me directions to Merrow FC, on this forum as I cannot download Gary's directions from Slough Town official website,as I do not possess Acrobe Reader.

Venue:

 

The Urnfield, Merrow F.C., off Downside Road, Merrow, nr Guildford, Surrey GU4 8PH.

 

Directions to Ground :

Take the M25 to Junction 10.

Take the A3 towards London(SW)/Guildford/Kingston.

After 5 miles, take the A3100 (London Road).

At London Rd/London Road Railway Station, take the 1st exit onto A25/Boxgrove Rd.

Turn right at the end of the road onto Epsom Road (A246).

Take the 3rd right into Tangier Road.

At the end of Tangier Road,

turn left into Warren Road and follow through into Downside Road.

The entrance to the Urnfield is at the end of

Downside Road.
