I may be wrong, but i sense i touch of sarcasm !!

 

Maybe not entirely displaced as it is so easy to see pre-season with rose tinted specs ,and a summer friendly is a vastly different game to East thurrock on a cold and wet november night.

 

Last year, Robinson was the new Ronaldo ,(for about 3 games )so there is merit in what i think you are suggesting.

 

Everyone has to start somewhere and if performing ,they deserve an opportunity-but are they good enough to take a wage which would tie up a wage that can't be used for a more proven player.

 

Most of us want a successful team -if its with younger local players ,then so much the better-but number one priority for most is a team of winners-be the from Margate or Mongolia.

I really do not know.

 

If our younger players can demonstrate patience and consistency and a willingness to learn and work hard(train) ,i'm sure they will do well.

Unfortunately, youth and patience do not often go together.If barron and Axon have those attributes and are physicallly strong enough,maybe they do deserve the chance
