Edgware Town 0 - Grays Athletic 4

Recommended Posts

Gavin - Yes that's right, the report in yesterday's non league paper reads as follows, it sounds like you were well beaten:

'Grays produced a highly impressive display as Edgware Town were undone by two goals in either half. The Blue Square Premier visitors opened the scoring in the 31st minute as Craig McAllister, last years top scorer for Woking, registerred his first goal for the Club. The former Cards hitman then doubled his tally heading home three minutes later. Edgware struggled to deal with their professional opponents and couldn't fashion a chance despite plenty of hard work. Gray's striker Dennis Oli limped off half way through the first half and was replaced by Matt Bodkin. Grays woes continued when Simon Downer went off but despite that they maintained the pressure on Edgware. Substitute Luke Woodward wasted little time getting on the score sheet with a thumping 20 yard strike and Aron O'Connor finished off the rout when he opened his account for the season in the 80th minute'.
