Quite a few of the trialists and Pase boys have been impressing in the friendlies and presumably we can't afford to sign then all.

Stubbs, Akinde, Coleman, Starky and McPhee all look good to me and there were a few other new names in last nights team that seem to have done okay

Liam is going to have some tough decisions to make.

Usuall BBC half-story. Of that 37, only about 10 were actual starts.... and Torquay were crap last season.

Brighton fan at work says he was fairly highly regarded as a prospect but injury prevented him making the step up.

Though you would have thought he might have got one!

Plus, as with all of them, what he did or didn't do last season won't count for anything this season.

Besides if he had scored 20 goals in 37 games for Torquay we wouldn't be playing them this season and he certainly wouldn't be hoping we offer him a contract.

That is so true, but a couple of goals would not have gone amiss, even from a poor striker,I would suggest, but time will tell, and he maybe the new Charlie, I hope so

6 times in 37 games is hardly a striker's form, in fact I think it's similar to that of Carragher's or Terry's in the Premiership, but Raphael's still looking a promising player.
