Ian_W has set up a prediction league for us which I will be administering, any dissing of myself or siding with Rhodes on any subjects will result in manual points deductions depending on the seriousness of the offence!!

 

OK, just kidding.. for now.

Will this include the final position predictions or is that separate?

Am I allowed to participate, I still feel that it was well out of order that I was thrown out towards the end of last season and it left a bitter taste in the mouth.

Rhodes - Yes you will be able to participate but as warned I will be firm with point deductions for anything comments posted in prediction threads that aren't appropiate!! That goes to everyone not just you but somehow I think it's only going to effect you...

It is possible to configure the points scoring pretty much how we like. Are you all happy with HTFCew's scoring system used last season?

 

The vote will last until Friday 17:00 after which if majority is no then I'll listen to alternative suggestions and then decide Elaines system is best anyway...

I think it was 1 point for a correct result and 3 for a correct score, doubled if you used your joker. If you got it wrong it was generally no score but negative points for an incorrect joker.

 

Does the new system allow the principle of jokers?

Ah, there isn't a joker facility! OK, I'll have a look at what the other leagues are doing.

Another setup option is the ability to view other peoples predictions or not! I was going to leave this so that you can't see other predictions before the games? Thoughts...?!?

I would prefer not to be able to see other people scores beforehand, if only to prevent Rhodes commenting on what Football Man has predicted.

I think this is a good idea but how can it be achieved, others may argue though that it will take the fun out of it slightly. What most of you don't realise is that Football Man purposely predicts Kentish Town to lose or draw just to get a reaction, I cannot remember him predicting us to win once last season even against Cranfield United which proves my point.
