Tonight's game at Fisher

I must say that approaching the ground and the pitch, one got the feeling that this was made for good football, and a good game it was.

 

With the usual toing and froing in the opening 15 minutes between the personnel down the middle there was no quarter given. The first half was really decided when Kris Lee squared to Mark Janney but their keeper, Simon Overland, heard that name before?, blocked the shot, and the Fish broke clear on the left for a foul in the box and the inevitable penalty, which was slotted home just before half time.

 

After the break the Urchins came out a different team and put pressure on the homesters. Harry Elmes broke into the box, to be brought down by Simon Overland, Sahed Ahmed slotting home the resultant penalty.

 

The game went from end to end with Adam Parker notching the winner 4 minutes from time from the left.

 

The winners were the Urchins of course, but also the Magnificent Seven who made their presence felt in the superb bar, especially at Happy Hour prices.

their first goal sounds a bit like the goal heybridge got in the westview league cup last season when we had a player sent off(purds i think)
