The irony of it all was it was the ex Millwall boys that restrained him for the stewards. I think they knew him and what he wanted to achieve.

Judging by the feedback from some of you guys, the team seems to be gelling nicely, although friendlies can be misleading, on paper at least tha squad seems to be more balanced, and with maybe one or two additions who knows.

Meanwhile, back to the footie...I agree with everything Alan W posted at the start of this thread.

I was very impressed with the no 8 (Barratt?) and Smith but I had Ricketts down as man of the match.

Nade's movement always looked dangerous and Sasha, as ever, was great when concentrating on the game and not so clever when sorting Spiller out.

We shouldn't get carried away by a pre-season friendly but that was a very encouraging performance and our defense especially looked very organised.

Good crowd for a friendly and an excellent nights entertainment.

The key word there was entertainment. That is what will attract the returning and punter and attract new blood.
