Slough Town FC in co-ordination with Slough Town Supporters Trust are pleased to announce the new away kit which will be used for the 2007/8 and 2008/9 campaigns.

 

 

Slough launch new away kit which will be sponsored by the Supporters Trust.

With the home kit sponsored by local company Lakes TV, the Supporters Trust put together a package which will enable them to have the Supporters Trust logo on the front of the new away kit.

 

Noticed that the home kit has been used so far, does that mean NO kit ready (if so the trust must be peed off after sponsoring it for so much money). Or have they pulled out

Anonymous, the STST sponsored away kit was worn last Saturday.

It would have been worn on Monday as well but we referred to an old handbook which had Paulton playing in White so only the amber strip was bought.

The white away kit was delayed at the manufacturers which is why it only made its debut on Saturday at Marlow and not on Tuesday at Thatcham.

 

I don't understand the reference about the old handbook as the new 07/08 ones have been received and distributed, but the kit may not have been ready from the launderette at the time of departure for Paulton.

 

Having looked through the oppositions kits for the remainder of the season, there will be only two further occassions where the kit cannot be worn. One is AFC Hayes and I cannot recall the other at the moment.

 

Clearly the anonymous poster wasn't paying that much attention at Marlow, or to the pictures.

 

The new white kit will be given a proper airing tonight as player and team shots will be taken.

I was told by Paul Lillywhite on Monday that he had looked at tha handbook which had Paulton playing in White

Lillywhite told us on Monday that we were playing in amber because he thought Paulton played in white having checked the handbook from last season. They played in purple and appropriately gave us a regal thrashing.

Well, Paul is the one who looks after the kit so I will bow down to him. Not that it matters greatly as the white kit will be worn at every available opportunity now moving forwards.
