Panorama on Slough

Having travelled the country watching the mighty Rebels and otherwise I've long since drawn the conclusion that all built up heavily populated areas are just as much "hell holes."

With my dad being ill and having to spend a lot of time in the town centre area recently, i'd say the high street is buzzing, unlike some of the dead as a doughnut places we've visited. I'd rather be shopping their than the gentrified sterility of places like Windsor.

Anyway, Panarama have never let the facts get in the way of a good story. And having a pop at Slough - well that's new(s)

PS Anyone want to rent an outbuiding in Alpha Street?

Slough High Street 'Buzzing' wow!

It's a shitehole and anyone who says otherwise is clearly foolish!

Windsor town center isn't much cop either though what with the grey army, toffs and tourists getting in the way!!

Half the trouble with Slough is its name - despite being similar in make-up and having the same problems as numerous towns up and down the country, none of them were featured in "The Office" or in a Betjeman poem. I honestly believe there's plenty worse places to live. Sometimes feels more than a little dodgy walking through the town centre in the evening though!

Have we tried reaching out to the Polish community much? They're a football mad country - perhaps we could give group offers - we might even unearth a few players!

Last season one of our players of the year was Lucas Bizon who had recently arrived from Poland. Plans are afoot to advertise more prominently at the Polish Association and to produce ads in Polish.
