Smallsy have you still got contacts at Maldon? Any truth in the rumour they have signed Wayne Purser ?

 

He was playing in the Conference last season so both him and Berquez have taken a drop in leagues.

Heard that rumour as well from somebody I was talking to at Hornchurch. If true that's an amazing signing. Certainly a striker who is far too good for Ryman One North.

It's not a rumour, Wayne Purser has signed for Maldon.

Yeah thanks, i just found a piece in the Essex Chronicle . I looked on their website & forum but neither have been used for months and so it`s very hard to find out what`s going on there.

I heard about it a couple of weeks ago but didn`t believe it to be honest but when the rumours continued i thought i`d do some digging.
