They were used against Bromley, except for Matt Bowles. I suppose Trott wanted to try players in different positions

You are right the reserves never get a look in

Like last year travel to London for weeks a few odd minutes on the pitch preseason then

Odd cup game that Trott does not want to win

and the dreaded sit on the bench times to come on for 5-10 mins to show that he is playing the reserves

No change from last year

No reserve slot on website as usual or squad players

having said that Vanhinsberg nor Axon are capable of playing in Ryman anyway not sure about Barron but could give him a go but why not Heath given a try.

In fairness to RT ,he does have to ensure that the quality is there.

It may be that in friendlies against lesser sides like erith and whitstable that they will get a chance.

No point conference players like Oli and Kedwell giving them the runaround-player and manager learn nothing that way ?

 

I guess, we all have our own ideas as to who looks a decent prospect-;and whilst i have only seen him once/possibly twice-Saul Anderton looked good and composed to me;and bit surprised he is not at least training with the first team squad.

You have to say, that it is likely that players from Milwall reserves are going to be better than players from Margate reserves, and the last thing we want is a relegation fight this season

 

I think these players will get plenty of opportunity this season anyway-there are about 50 games to go afterall.

A good game overall, a classic friendly really with the chabnges in the second half as Trotty had a look at others. Thought we put some good passages of play together today which looked promising, with both Gate goals well taken. Side impressed me up front today too. Overall I think it was a promising performance.

And for those not there, and I haven't seen it anywhere else on here, the attendance was 350.

New poster!!! just moved to this area watched Ramsagate last week and Margate today, choice Margate.

 

Dont know anyone or any of the players but would like to say the two very young lads brought on at the end look very good the tall one name escapes me looks like a whippet to me! good keeper as well, likewis the right back.

 

My team will always be Tame but I will be in the area for some time and will support this club as much as possible.
