Was meant to be there today, but just a little bit of water trouble here in Gloucestershire.

 

Thought Bowles may have been given a run-out in goal against a 'quality' side to see how he handles things under pressure.Need to keep SCS in cotton wool until the serious stuff starts-be a disaster if he got injured .Anyone know yet if he is suspended for first game of season

 

No real 'new faces' then afterall,despite what RT said;although not sure who Lunn is

very impressive stuff today , lots of good footy played on the floor in midfield , and kept Grays out of the game for most of the 2nd half , liked it alot , well done blue boys . Up the Gate.

What was thought to be Ben Campbell IS actually Ben Payne it seems. Payne, 18 year old centre back that turned out regularly for Millwall Reserves last season.

Charlie Side is going to be a good assett to the club , very hard working player all over the pitch and great touch to set up Standen with the 2nd Gate goal ,

A good result today, sadly i missed the game as i had other commitments. Also good to see that we looking at what seem to be good players and also good to hear that some of the reserves are impressing.

I had Ricky Lunn listed as 19 and thought Bagley was replaced by 19 so thought that was him until someone said it was Barron (who was not listed as a sub).
