Joel Legister joins Oxford

I liked watching Joel play. Oxford have another useful side this season:

Blue Square Premier club Oxford have added the signature of winger Joel Ledgister to those of French defender Alex Jeannin and forward Phil Trainer.

 

Ledgister has played his football at Southend United, also spending last season at Gravesend & Northfleet on a loan deal.

 

Nominally a right wing, he also has the ability to play wide on the left or as a striker. [/color]

Ledgister said: "Oxford have a great pitch if you're a winger, and the atmosphere the crowd makes is a great boost.

 

"I have been at the club for a couple of weeks and like the set up. Jim Smith and Darren Patterson have really impressed me and the rest of the lads have been first-class.

 

"The club should have gone up last year, but everyone is so determined to make it happen this time around." [/color]
