Now I have this site unblocked at work I thought I would start this one off

Hard one to call for me as I really don't know how the team will gel and who will be playing

so I just want a good game from the gate, a few goals so I will go for 3-2 or 2- 3 don't care

5-1 to Grays.

Crowd 305.

No new faces out excepting those who were around Tuesday.

Personally, as its just a friendly, i hope Margate do get well beaten to show RT how much he needs to do if we are to be a top 8 side this season.

The worst thing that can happen in friendlies is that you do well, and everyone is lulled into complacency.

Lets have the rude awakening in the games that don't matter.

Main thing is though-no injuries please

Ok-i'll buy into it for now.

Its just that RT's record of saying he is signing someone and that player actually signing is not brilliant and we seem to wait for ever.(striker in November-Haworth signed in march !!)
Equally 'new faces on show' is different to actually signing much needed central defenders and a central midfield player.

Hopefully this season RT will 'walk the walk' aswell as 'talk the talk' .

In fairness, where RT has eventually signed players, the vast majority have been good buys with hardly any misfits.
The only one that was'nt quite up to the marque was argualbly Wild, and even he was ok'ish.
In Haworth,Sapps and Jay RT did get good ones-just not enough of them and at the wrong time;and it cost us promotion(yes i'm still bitter about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory )
