Grays game

Whilst they may not be the 'biggest name in town',they have certainly moved in the opposite direction to the'Gate in recent times, and are now at least regularly getting crowds over 1200.

 

I reckon they will be bringing abot a 70 to Margate this weekend-they are quite excited about their new team and want to see them.

 

A bit ironic that after Wimbledon,and all the Thanet neutrals attending the Ramsgate derbies, this is probably the biggest away following we will see all season.

 

More to the point and it will be a really good test for the players (of both sides for various reasons) on saturday;and i reckon it could be a 'full on' proper game.

 

At least our pitch is better than theirs

games we have had in the past against Grays have always been full on with lots of goals . Never forget the 3-3 draw at there place a few seasons ago think it was an FA cup game , Darren Watson equailizing in the 4th-5th min of injury time , then the replay going to pens at Ashford don`t think i got home till 11.45 , pissed off , cold and we lost but 2 entertaing matches .

Both clubs gone in differant directions since then , how time can change things so on Sat we deserve a win over them , come on the Gate lets show them a real game of football , can`t wait . Up the Gate.
